Our Mission
At GCCO, our mission is to provide support for Greene County residents in need of short-term financial assistance in collaboration with churches, businesses, civic organizations, service agencies, and individuals. Our dedicated Board of Directors, consisting primarily of pastors and other representatives of local churches, guides our efforts to make a positive impact on our community.
Assistance funds are used primarily to make rent payments or to pay utility bills (directly to the landlord or utility company) so that the family can remain in their home despite unanticipated emergencies or loss of employment.
